| Sublimation-
the process by which a solid changes to gas without
the intermediary step of a liquid.
Sublime - exalted, noble and uplifting
|
An
inquiry for the chemist: does Helium, Argon, Neon, Krypton,
Xenon, Radon sublimate?
The
mind derives meaning from context. Memorization of the definition's
of sublimation and sublime gives for very little assurance
of remembrance of either at a critical moment. Yet knowing
that sublimation is the process of becoming arrogant one
never forgets that a gas can be sublime.
And
tell me Derrida, is the difference in the middle? And here
I thought abstraction could only be understood in opposition.
